Incredible is an understatement. Every detail was well thought out. Plus we always love when coffee is included and a bottle of wine! Wow, just WOW!!!

We stayed in Hubbs Cellar, and all of our expectations were exceeded. The space is clean, well-appointed, and perfectly located. Walter is an exceptional host. We will absolutely be returning.

Walter is a kind and thoughtful host! His suite is perfect for a small family with 2–3 adults, a young child, and even a pet. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly child-friendly. For our toddler (1–3 years), Walter provided a crib, unbreakable dinnerware, all kinds of cups, a high chair, and a booster seat. He even went the extra mile to babyproof all the outlets, which gave us great peace of mind. As someone who usually overpacks for baby travel, I was pleasantly surprised to find almost everything we needed already provided. (If you’re traveling with a baby under 1, you might still want to bring a bottle warmer, but otherwise, it’s all here!) We also brought our dog, and Walter had thoughtfully prepared pet essentials—pee pads, bowls, a leash, and waste bags. Both our little ones—human and canine—were very comfortable here. Highly recommend this stay, especially for families traveling with young children and pets. It truly felt like a home away from home!

Suite was exactly as described! Well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Host went out his way to insure we had an enjoyable stay!

The suite was just what we needed to enjoy an evening concert nearby while also taking in the nightlife around Hammondsport. We only stayed one night but Walter’s place could easily be enjoyed for mich longer. Location was excellent. Parking was great. Definitely recommend.

Walt thought of everything!! There were even cups and dishes for little ones, not that we had any there. Spotless and comfortable, and an easy walk to everything. I will highly recommend to everyone, and will definitely be back!

We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. The apartment is beautifully maintained and has a real homey feel. We loved being so close to the lake and the wineries. Walter goes above and beyond as a host. Already planning our next trip!

The Nautilus was the perfect space for our golf weekend with friends. Plenty of room to relax with all the amenities we needed. Beautiful area. We hit the restaurants, golf courses and wineries in the area. Would recommend the property and would stay there again! The host Carl is easy to reach and responsive if you need anything. Thanks!

Wonderful stay and cozy clean space to stay Positive: The property was very updated and clean. We enjoyed the coziness of the living space. Although we did not meet any staff we were provided with a welcome bottle of wine which was a very nice touch.

Very clean, quiet and convenient. Host was very nice and easy to work with as was the check-in, check-out process.

Wow, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Hammondsport! Steps from the lake, restaurants and minutes from wineries and other activities. Walter’s place was spotless and comfortable. A lot of thought was put into having everything you could possibly imagine. We didn’t want for a thing. It was quiet and peaceful, and we loved saying hi to Macy, the black lab. We would definitely return to Hammondsport and Walter’s place. Highly recommend!

Perfection.

Junior's Suite was the highlight of our Finger Lakes trip. Spacious, clean, and in the best location. The kitchen was great for making breakfasts before heading out to the wineries. Walter is an excellent host who truly cares about his guests' experience. We'll be back!

Outstanding property in the heart of Hammondsport. Walter is a phenomenal host who goes above and beyond. The Nautilus was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Steps from the lake and village. Cannot recommend enough!

My wife and I spent a long weekend at Hubbs Cellar and absolutely loved it. The space is cozy and well-appointed with everything you need. Walking to the lake took just minutes and the village has great restaurants. Walter was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return!

We wish we could give more than 5 stars! Walter’s place was gorgeous and a treat to stay in. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants in town and only steps away from the water. Walter was extremely kind, flexible, and communicative. He gave us great recommendations for a dog park in the area (which our dog loved) and a wine bar that we thoroughly enjoyed. He was able to check us in an hour early, and he even left us a bottle of wine as an anniversary present. The whole stay was wonderful and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for our night stay. We walked in excited to sleep and stay there. All was perfect- cute walkable town.

We checked out today but we didn't want to leave! This place is a gem. It's close to everything, the lake, the restaurants, The Over the Bridge Wine Bar, the wineries, and the museums. Very clean and well appointed. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend

We had a great experience staying here. It is well located and comfortable. When we mentioned we were brining out baby, the host provided us a high chair and a few other kids item's which were extremely helpful!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Hubbs Cellar! This cozy place was extrememly private, and had all the essentials needed for our mini vacay. Just steps to the lake and downtown Hammondsport where you can find everything you need. Great water sports rental, right there on the lake, where we rented a pontoon boat with a slide! Don't let the word "Celler" throw you off! Just a few steps down into the most charming bright and comfortable oasis. The furniture is top of the line, and linens are a dream! The coffee and wine bar is wonderful for your early mornings and relaxing evenings snuggling up to the fireplace on those cool summer nights. We would highly recommend Walter's Hubbs house! His communication was excellent and quick to answer questions as well as checking in to make sure we were happy! Thank you again for outstanding hospitality. Hope to be back!
