Cozy spot in a great location! The spot had everything we needed and was easy to access.

Walter's place was amazing--roomy, spotless, close to restaurants and the beach and so much more. The apartment has comfortable furniture throughout, including the bed, a full kitchen and lots of room to spread out or work away from home (unfortunately)! Walter left us a bottle from a local winery and gave us helpful information about wineries, restaurants and the general area. We had our Aussies with us and they were welcomed and very comfortable. Hammondsport is a quintessential dog friendly small town complete with town square and gazebo (and a concert on Thursday night), ice cream parlor (that serves breakfast), bakery, coffee roaster, town beach and good dinner restaurants--what else is needed? Excellent wineries are near-by as well as a dog park. We plan to make a return visit and will definitely stay at Walter's place!

This lovely place in Hammondsport was perfect for a first ever trip to the Finger Lakes. It is extremely well appointed and very clean. The furniture and bed are high quality and very comfortable. The space is quite large for a one bedroom and has a beautiful dining room. We appreciated the special coffee and the complimentary bottle of local wine! Its location close to the lake and restaurants and shops is also perfect. We will definitely look to stay again if we come back to the area.

We had such a nice time staying here. The place was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Everything was clearly labeled and Walter was an attentive host. We can’t wait to come back.

Walter was a fantastic host, very accommodating and takes personal pride in the listing and it shows! It was a short trip for my brother in laws 100k race but we will be back! If you are looking for something on or near Keuka lake this is a must stay!

Junior's Suite was even better than we expected. The upper-level views are lovely and the space is bright and welcoming. Our family of four was very comfortable. Walter provided great tips for local wineries and restaurants. The walk to the lake is incredibly short. A truly wonderful experience!

We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. The apartment is beautifully maintained and has a real homey feel. We loved being so close to the lake and the wineries. Walter goes above and beyond as a host. Already planning our next trip!

Hubbs Cellar was a wonderful place to stay for a few days to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. Walter was very responsive throughout the entire time, from booking to post departure. He met us when we arrived, making sure we were satisfied with the suite and provided restaurant recommendations, including a two-for-one coupon for a drink at The Hidden Cork. The spacious suite was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We greatly appreciated the bottle of wine Walter & Meredith had waiting for us when we arrived. We loved the custom woodwork of the dining room set and coffee bar. The fireplace made the living room nice and cozy. Also, enjoyed being a short walk to stores, the bakery, and restaurants. Highly recommend this place!!

Such a beautiful and well appointed place. The information and instructions provided were excellent. Walter was responsive to queries promptly and cordially. We look forward to another stay at the Hubbs house soon.

We wish we could give more than 5 stars! Walter’s place was gorgeous and a treat to stay in. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants in town and only steps away from the water. Walter was extremely kind, flexible, and communicative. He gave us great recommendations for a dog park in the area (which our dog loved) and a wine bar that we thoroughly enjoyed. He was able to check us in an hour early, and he even left us a bottle of wine as an anniversary present. The whole stay was wonderful and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Hubbs Cellar was fantastic. The space is perfect, spacious, and comfortable, and the location can't be beat. Just steps from the lake and everything the town has to offer in terms of shopping and dining. Walter was a fantastic host and was super responsive to questions, gave excellent recommendations, and made the stay even better knowing he was just a message away. I have already been recommending Hubbs Cellar to friends and look forward to a return stay in the future!

I hope this sounds right. We absolutely loved being here versus a hotel room. Positive: It was a very comfortable place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed being in Hammondsport. We made a few contacts with the owners and they were very quick to respond and take care of the little things Hubb’s Cellar has everything you need Negative: That we were only there for three days would love to come back again if we are ever in the area

Outstanding property in the heart of Hammondsport. Walter is a phenomenal host who goes above and beyond. The Nautilus was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Steps from the lake and village. Cannot recommend enough!

We had such a wonderful short stay in Juniors Suite! The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the host, Walter, was very responsive and kind. Location was perfect—close to everything we needed but still quiet and relaxing. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to return in the future. Highly recommend!

Accommodations were pristine❣️All amenities were beyond expectations of a rental unit! Very impressed by the attention to detail provided. Plenty of bath towels, doggie trash can outside of unit, coffee bar, room air filter, bottle of wine, ect! Would definitely stay again! Thank you soo much!

Walter’s Airbnb was the perfect getaway for us. We could walk to the lake and also easily all around town. The place was immaculate and exactly as presented in the listing. Walter responded very quickly to our questions. We highly recommend this place.

Hubbs Cellar was absolutely stunning! The space was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Everything was so well thought out, warm and welcoming and had everything we could need for our stay. Walter was a great host as he maintained communication throughout our stay. He offered suggestions, coupons and a bottle of wine for our stay. He was very responsive and was always making sure we were enjoying all the place had to offer. We stay in quite a few Airbnbs when we travel and Hubbs Cellar was far superior to other places we’ve stayed in and was way above our expectations. We will definitely stay here in the future when we visit Hammondsport again!
